I am re-reading a book that I picked up off the bookcase ( a fairly regular thing in my case) and it is one that the hubby bought me for Valentines Day in 2001 - (he’s romantic - he just knows what I like!)   Anyway it has the most beautiful inscription in it as follows:

Without you I would be lost in a lonely world of work, stress and no life.  Thank you for rescuing me and bringing me a pleasure and enjoyment of life I never knew existed.

I showed it to him and it made us both think about how we take each other for granted now that live is busy, years have passed and we have two kids to run around after. 

We are trying to keep the quote in mind as we pass in the night, toing and frowing during the week and waiting for our weekends to spend some time together.
